The yield on the 10 year opened the week at 3.185% and is at 3.079% as of this writing. That is a nice improvement caused by the decline in U S Stocks and concerns overseas especially in Italy.
Rates had moved up some but we have seen some improvement in conforming rates with the decline in the 10 year bond and increase in the Mortgage Backed Securities.
But long term is still for rates to increase so if you are planning on consolidating an equity line that has started to amortize or want to borrow some cash out of your home for improvements you should consider doing that sooner rather than later.
Some great games this weekend. Notre Dame Takes on Navy is San Diego in an always tough game and Stanford hosts Washington State and USC hosts Arizona State.
