History of Veterans Day

November 7th, 2014 5:59 PM by Gene Tidgewell

The Non Farms Job report was out this morning and was a bit lower than expectations, but it was the 9th month in a row that new jobs exceeded 200,000. The problem is most of the new jobs were in the service sector and are lower paying.  The jobs participation rate improved slightly but is still poor. The underemployment rate is 11.5 %. 10 year is down 3 BPS for the week and MBS are up 22. Next week will be thin on financial data so let’s see how The Ukraine where Russia supposedly sent in 32 tanks and is again amassing a large army on its border or if Draghi will start QE for the ECB to try and pull Europe out of recession or what affect Obama approving 1,500 more troops for Iraq will have on the market.

Notre Dame plays a tough Arizona State team in Tempe Saturday with game time temperatures expected to be 87. SC has a bye and UCLA travels to Seattle to play Washington. There are a number of other good games but we are high lighting Penn State at Indiana (This one is for you Ron Ignatuk)

Rather than give you a football video this week we have a video on the History of Veterans Day which is Tuesday. Enjoy and let any veterans you know that we appreciate what they have sacrificed for this country.
